IDABEL MAN IS BADLY HURT IN AUTO COLLISION

A. T. Dolen, 32-year-old night watchman at the Dugan lumber company, was carried in a Coffey funeral home ambulance to the University hospital in Oklahoma City Tuesday when he will be given ?????? examination for injuries.

Dolen suffered ???? injuries ???? Monday afternoon when he ....................................turned ....................... road leading to the CCC camp.

He started to drive around a truck occupied by Louie and Leroy Butler, both of Harris, and the front wheel on his car .......................... wheel of the truck, causing the car to turn over twice.

ARDELL T. DOLEN

Ardell T. Dolen, 32, died at 1 a.m. Monday at the University hospital in Oklahoma City, where he was taken last week for surgical treatment after receiving injuries in an automobile accident here.

Funeral services were held Tuesday at 3 p.m. at the Church of the Nazarene with Rev. C.R. Baldwin, pastor, officiating. Burial was made in Denison cemetery under direction of Coffey Funeral home.

Survivors include the wife (Lottie Mae Rodgers); four children, Billie, Mary, Donald and Ethel Dolen, all of Idabel; parents, Mr. and Mrs. E.A. Dolen, Broken Bow; four brothers, Dudley and Levi Dolen, and J.C. and Odell Dolen, both of Broken Bow; three sisters, Mrs. Edith Jones, Miss Lizzie Stansbury and Miss Mary Lane Dolen, all of Broken Bow.

Dolen had been employed the last six months as a nightwatchman at the Dugan Lumber company in Idabel.

Sam Dorsey, Idabel, was the driver of the truck which was involved in the collision with A.T. Dolen on the afternoon of Monday, December 15, on Highway 70.
