Olive R Hawkley, 72, a long time resident of Boise, passed away at her home on Thursday July 13, 2006.

Olive was born November 15, 1933 in Inkom, Idaho to Richard Edward and Sarah Ivy Woodland. She married the love of her life Donald R Hawkley on February 13, 1953 in Pocatello, Idaho. The marriage was later solemnized in the Idaho Falls Temple. They had four children Jan (Dale) Lister of Nampa, Idaho, Kerry (Kathy) Hawkley of Boise, Idaho, Susan Tuck of Boise, Idaho, and Kevin (Debbie) Hawkley of Oak Harbor, Washington. Olive was a homemaker, and her children and their families were her first delight. She also loved to read, care for her flower beds, sew and crochet. She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Serving in the young women's program, the Relief Society, various musical capacities, and family history work. She and her husband served a mission for the church in London, England, were they were directors of the Hyde Park Family History Centre. Olive is survived by her husband, four children, seventeen grandchildren, and nineteen great grandchildren. She is also survived by a brother and two sisters. She was proceeded in death by her parents, and one grandson.
