Dolores Sharp, 79, passed away November 1, 2015 in Georgetown, Kentucky. She was born November 11, 1935 in Scott County, Kentucky to the late Winfield Scott and Pauline Humphrey McAlister.
She was a member of Corinth Christian Church. She became a LPN after she turned 50, and had been a Scott County school bus monitor for 10 years. Dolores liked to dance and loved music and reading. She is survived by her sons, Darrell Lee Sharp of Beaver Fall, Pennsylvania, Gary Lewis (Debbie) Sharp, and Jeffrey Scott (Donna) Sharp both of Georgetown; daughters, Debra Jean (Billy) Parrish and Paula Frances (Bob) Offutt both of Stamping Ground; grandchildren, Scott Parrish, DJ Sharp, Justin Sharp, Andrew Sharp, Jordon Sharp, Brittany Rodman, Logan Sharp, Jared Offutt, and Ashton Sharp, great grandchildren, Haleigh Sharp, Razor Sharp, and Bralynn Sharp; brother, Caswell (Doris) McAlister of Lexington; sister, Elsie Louise Green of Georgetown; and special friend Jimmy Vance. She was preceded in death by her sister, Wanda Marie McAlister.
Funeral services are 1pm Thursday, November 5, 2015 at Tucker, Yocum, & Wilson Funeral Home with Pastor Mike Felts officiating. Burial will be in Crestlawn Cemetery with pallbearers being her grandchildren.
