Clara Norden, 88, St. Cloud Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. today at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Waite Park for Mrs. George (Clara R.) Norden, 88, a resident of St. Benedict's Center, formerly of Route 4, who died Thursday at St. Cloud Hospital. The Rev. Herman Winkels will officiate. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Friends may call after 9:30 this morning at the church in Waite Park. Arrangements were by Daniel Funeral Home.
Clara Norden was born Oct. 8, 1901, in St. Wendel Township, Stearns County, to John and Theresa (Weis) Stich. She lived in Waite Park most of her life where she was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church.
Survivors include son and daughter, Leona Lee Sucik, Minneapolis; and Donald Fiereck, Clear Lake; 17 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; and sister, Mrs. Anton (Maggie) Reber, St. Joseph.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, George in 1971; and daughter, Pearl Rollins in 1990.
