Victor P. Anastasia, 51, of 80 Woodrow Wilson Homes, died yesterday at Monmouth Medical Center.

Mr. Anastasia was a life-long resident here and was the Long Branch Housing Authority Superintendent for 22 years.

He was a communicant of Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church and a member of its Holy Name Society. He was a World War II Navy veteran.

Mr. Anastasia was first assistant Chief of the Long Branch Fire Department, and was a member of the Branchport Fire Company for 15 years. He was also an honorary member of the Long Branch First Aid Squad.

Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Eleanor Letts Anastasia; his father, Peter Anastasia, here; a son, William, at home; two daughters, Mrs. June Sutphim, Ocean Township, and Mrs. Vickie Bollinger, here; a brother, Anthony A. Anastasia, here; two sisters, Miss Rose Anastasia and Miss Ann Anastasia, both of here; and a grandson.

The Damiano Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Funeral Sat., June 20, at 8 a.m. at the Damiano Funeral Home, 125 3rd Ave., Long Branch. High Requiem Mass 9 a.m. at Holy Trinity R.C. Church. Interment Woodbine Cemetery, Oceanport. Visitation 2-5 and 7-10 p.m. Thurs. and Fri. In lieu of flowers kindly send contributions to the Long Branch First Aid Squad.
