William Oliver, aged 82, died at his residence, 1827 Seventeen-A street west, Friday. He was born in Harwick, Scotland, and had resided in Calgary for 31 years. He was a stone-cutter by trade. His wife, Janet, predeceased him in 1933, and his only son was killed in 1916 while serving with the Royal Canadian Air Force. Surviving is one daughter, Mrs. P. C Shaver, of Montreal. Rev. H. E, D. Ashford will conduct services on Monday at 3:30 o'clock at the Park Memorial chapel. Interment will be In Burnsland cemetery. Shaver, Mclnnis and Holloway are in charge.
