Patricia Ann Sayers (nee Ziembicki), age 65, of Highland, passed away on Wednesday, November 23, 2005. She is survived by three daughters: Debbie (Robert) Kurpis of Merrillville, Cindy (Clint) Holycross of Griffith and Tiffeny (Chris) Lloyd of Hessville; six grandchildren: Jennifer, Pamela, Christopher, Dustin "Munchie", John and Alexa; five sisters: Betty Stevens of Hammond, Shirley Fusko of Hammond, Geraldean (Thomas) Skordas of FL, Arlene Brownd of Crown Point and Christine (Roy) Mattull of GA and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Sayers; son, Thomas Sayers, Jr.; parents: Stanley and Martha Ziembicki; one brother and several sisters. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, November 28, 2005 directly at St. James Church, 9640 Kennedy Avenue, Highland, IN, with Rev. Keith Virus, officiating. Burial at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens, Schererville. Friends are invited to meet with the family on Sunday from 2 to 8 p.m. at Kuiper Funeral Home (two blocks south of Ridge Road), Highland, IN. Mrs. Sayers was a member of the St. James Church of Highland and a member of the Loyal Order of Moose Lodge of Schererville. She enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family. Memorial contributions may be made in her loving memory to the St. Anthony Hospice, Crown Point.
