Born and reared in Madera, she was the daughter of Marino and Anna Bomprezzi. She was the sister of Isolina Giaccani, and Rego and Vincent Bomprezzi, all of whom preceded her in death. They lived on a small farm west of Madera and attended Howard School.
Theresa Vived was married to Angel Vived for 38 years, during which time they developed their ranch on Road 23. She loved living in the country and the tasks associated with that: raising chickens, gardening, and canning fruit.
In addition to being a homemaker and working on the ranch, she had been a winery worker.
At one time, she had been active in the Italo-American Club and the Senior Citizens.
She lived independently with little need for medications into her late 80's.
Her son Joe and his wife Pat; grandchildren, Scott Vived, Wendy Vived, Craig Vived, and Lori King; and six great-grandchildren survive her. Her sister-in-law, Gena Bomprezzi, also survives her.
Visitation will be held at Jay Chapel on Sunday, August 27, 2006, from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Joachim Catholic Church in Madera on Monday, August 28, 2006, at 11:00 a.m.
Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Madera.
Remembrances may be made to the Madera Adult Day Care & Respite Center, 322 West 6th Street, Madera, CA 93637.
