Tom Baldwin, 78, went to be with the Lord on November 19, 2015. A native Coloradoan, he was born in Denver on February 6, 1937. He attended Ft. Collins High School and earned a BA and MS from Colorado State University. He taught biology and anatomy/physiology at Broomfield High School from 1961-1992. He was also a baseball coach at BHS for 13 years and won 3 state championships, and a football coach for 30 years and won 4 state championships.
He married Gloria Hinther in 1959 and had three children: Valerie Powell, Terri Baldwin and Mike Baldwin. Gloria died in 1991, after which he met and married Beverly Kercher in 1994.
Tom is survived by his wife, two sisters, three children, nine grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren. His family, faith, friends, players and students meant the world to him and brought him much joy.
Services will be held on Tuesday, November 24th, at 10:30 a.m. at Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church, 6995 W. 120th Ave., Broomfield. A light luncheon will be served immediately after.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Tom's name to Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church or to Broomfield High School Athletic Program, in care of Ginger Ramsey, 1 Eagle Way, Broomfield, 80020.
