ROSS RIGHTSELL DIES AT AGE OF 80 YEARS
James R. "Ross" Rightsell, age 80 of 209 E. Jackson Street, died late Wednesday afternoon, at the Clay County Hospital where he had been a patient for one week.
In failing health for several years, he had been a patient at the Porter Rest Home at Knightsville for two years.
Born in Putnam County, he was a son of Tillman H. and Amanda K. Day Rightsell. He was employed for many years by Brazil Hollow Brick & Tile Co., prior to his retirement.
He was preceded in death by his wife, the former Ethel Owens.
Surviving is one sister, Mrs. Harry (Margaret) Sutherland, of Brazil and one step-daughter, Mrs. Jean Wright of Brazil and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at two o'clock this afternoon at the Miller & Sons Funeral Home and interment will be in Cottage Hill Cemetery.
