Funeral services were held Monday, June 7 1954, at the home at Georges Creek for Bertha Stacy, 52 who died at her home following an illness of several weeks. Born January 12, 1902 in Lawrence County she was the daughter of George and Anna Dixon Stacy. Surviving are two brothers, Garfield Stacy, Sitka, George Stacy of Georges Creek, four sisters: Mrs. Ora Tackett, Rush Town, Ohio, Mrs. Bessie Blanton, Cedan, Ohio, Mrs. Blanche Webb, Dunhan, Ky., Mrs. Mary Pack, Key Rock, WVa.
