Rosie, 87, of Lansing, MI. went home to be with her Lord on November 21, 2015. She was the daughter of Vito & Ermelinda Barberio.

Rosie graduated from Eastern High School. She worked in the office at Arbaughs until her family came.

She was a long time member of Holy Cross Church and later a member of St. Gerard Church.

She enjoyed playing bingo.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Stanley in 2008; parents and brother, Fred Barberio.

She is survived by her children, Diane (Larry) Brown, Mary Ann (Bill) White, Lawrence A. (Joan) Hengesbach, and Jane (Michael) VanAuken; 10 grandchildren, Neil, Jacquelyn, and Janette Brown; Stephanie (Charlie) Mingoia, Sarah White, Lawrence (Amanda) Hengesbach; Christina, Nicholas, Rebecca, and Mary VanAuken; Great-Grandsons, Ayden Brown and Lawrence Hengesbach; twin brother, Joseph (Janet) Barberio; sister-in-law, Bette Barberio; and many nieces and nephews.

A Vigil & Rosary Service were held Friday in the Tiffany Funeral Home, Funeral Liturgy was on Saturday, Nov. 28 at St. Gerard Church, Lansing with Fr. John P. Klein, presiding. Rite of committal St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.

Contributions may be made to St. Gerard Church or Mother Teresa House in memory of Rosie.
