Henry Bluedorn, aged 70 years, a well known resident of this city, was taken by death in the New Castle hospital at 8:45 o ’clock this morning. the result of a heart condition with which he had been suffering since last February. He made his home with his niece, Mrs. John C. Pardick, 508 County Line street.

Mr. Bluedorn, born in Germany on July 14. 1866, was brought to New Castle by his father and mother Charles and Sophie Bluedorn, when he was a lad just ten years old, and he had been here ever since.

He was a member of the Lutheran church denomination and the I.O.O.F. When a boy he had attended the old Reynolds town school and was one of the most faithful attenders, in later years, a t the annual reunions. Although he was not well he turned out for the reunion last summer, his friends recall.

Mr. Bluedorn was single and his only survivor is a sister, Mrs. Frank Hettrick, in Nebraska. The funeral services will be conducted in the Ritchie Funeral home on Saturday afternoon at 3 o'clock and interment will be made in Oak Park cemetery.

The body is at the funeral home now. Relatives will be there Friday night from 7 to 9 o'clock when friends may call.
