Mrs. Frank Bergel, 73, of Francis Creek, died early Tuesday morning at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc, following an illness of two weeks.
Funeral services will be at 9 a.m. Thursday at Saur Funeral Home, Kellnersville, and at 9:30 a.m. at St. Ann Catholic Church, Francis Creek. The Rev. Richard Birdsell, SDS, will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Bergel, nee Anna Schultz, was born Feb. 6, 1885, in the Town of Franklin, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Wencel Schultz. April 9, 1907, she was married to Frank Bergel at Francis Creek. The couple settled on a farm in the Town of Kossuth, retiring and moving to the present home in Francis Creek 10 years ago. Mrs. Bergel was a member of St. Ann Altar Society and the Catholic Knights of Wisconsin.
Survivors include two sons, Adolph of Whitelaw and Paul at home; two daughters, Mrs. Raymond Remaker of Whitelaw and Mrs. Edmund Suldzinski of Denmark; three brothers, John of Menchalville, James of Manitowoc and Emil of Francis Creek; three sisters, Mrs. Emma Kalista of Grimms, Mrs. Frank Sleger of Kellnersville and Mrs. Arthur Bolzenthal of Manitowoc, 12 grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Two brothers preceded her in death.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 2:30 p.m. Wednesday where the Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. by Father Birdsell and the Catholic Knights.

The marriage of Miss Anna Schultz and Frank Burger was celebrated at Francis Creek Tuesday and during the afternoon and evening a reception and dance was given for the bridal pair, 100 guests attending. They will reside at Kossuth.
