Also surviving are two sons, Larry (Connie) Shane and Terry Shane; four daughters, Nancy Shane (Dan Shockey), Judy Shane-Kopko, Shari (Paul) "Tim" Harwood and Beverly Shane (Ken Perkins); eight grandchildren, Janine Sheldrick, Kay Sperry, Vanessa Shane, Jason Shane, Thorin Kopko, Kelly Wood, Theresa Hammond and Billie Harwood; eight great-grandchildren, Cody Sperry, Benjamin Sperry, Sam Sperry, Quincy Carr, Cole Shane, Katlyn Shane, Alexandra Harwood, Betsy Sheldrick, and Robb Sheldrick; and two sisters, Delores Donovan and Helen Sendelbach.
He was preceded in death by one grandson, Eric Shane, five brothers and four sisters.
Ed farmed in Stark and Knox counties for many years.
