GEORGE KORNELY
(1874 - 1919)

George C. Kornely died at the Holy Family Hospital this morning after an illness of three weeks. Death was due to liver trouble.

Mr. Kornely was born in Kossuth June 22, 1874 and was a son of the late Peter Kornely. He has always made his home in the county and 13 years ago was married here, his wife dying last June.

Besides his aged mother and four sons, he is survived by six sisters and two brothers. The sons are Ralph, Leo, George Jr., and Frederick. The sisters and brothers are Mrs. F. J. Kerscher, of this city; Mrs. Matt Petri, Mrs. Irwin Wachtel and Mrs. Anton Grim of Two Rivers; Miss Emma of Kossuth, Charles of Kossuth and Peter A. of Appleton (sic-only 5 sisters mentioned although stated 6).

Deceased was a member of the local council Knights of Columbus and of the Catholic Knights of Wisconsin.

The funeral will be held Tuesday morning at 10 o'clock from the late home and service will be at St. Anne's church at Francis Creek.
