Carol J. (Meyer) Bastianelli, age 81, a resident of Manitowoc Health and Rehabilitation Center, Manitowoc, died on Wednesday, November 19, 2014 at Manitowoc Health and Rehabilitation Center.

She was born on October 10, 1933, in Two Rivers, daughter of the late Phillip and Utha (Ledger) Zurn. Carol was a graduate of Two Rivers Washington High School. On May 7, 1955 she married William Meyer at St. Luke Catholic Church, Two Rivers. He preceded her in death on September 10, 1996. Later she married Henry Bastianelli on April 27, 2000 at St. Mary Catholic Church, Manitowoc. He preceded her in death on February 2, 2009. Carol loved going to the cabin in Iron River and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Carol loved to have a good time and if there was music playing you could count on seeing her out on the dance floor.

Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law: Mary Jo and Butch Schneider, Linda and Dennis Emond, all of Manitowoc; three sons: Leonard Meyer, Michael Meyer, both of Manitowoc, Kent Meyer, Green Bay; one step daughter: Terri Stout, Manitowoc; 13 grandchildren: Kevin (Jessi), Amy, Alissa, Brianna, Tabitha, Jacob (Michelle), Phillip (Michelle), Raeana, Ashley, Zach, Brennan, Kyra, Mandy; 13 great-grandchildren: Alexis, Gage, Calloway, Haily, Myles, Isaac, McKenzie, Meleah, Erika, Christen, Zoe, Cali, Tristan; two sisters-in-law and three brothers-in-law: Mike and Tuddy Loose, Howards Grove, Arlene Hansen, Manitowoc, Kenneth Meyer, New Mexico, Lloyd Schaefer, Manitowoc; special friends: Louie and Marie Weber, Manitowoc. Nieces, Nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. She was also preceded in death by an infant son: Timothy Meyer and one brother: Donald Zurn.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, November 22, 2014 at St. Francis of Assisi on Grand. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be the Rev. David Beaudry. Burial will be at the St. Anne Catholic Church Cemetery, Francis Creek on Monday, November 24, 2014

The family will greet relatives and friends on Saturday, November 22, 2014 at St. Francis of Assisi on Grand from 9:30 AM until 10:45 AM.
