Faye Ernestine Brown, 95, passed away December 6, 2015 at Vermillion Convalescent Center in Clinton. She was born March 31, 1920 to James Milton Crane and Margaret Jordan Crane in Clinton.
She was a member of the Wayside United Methodist Church, Eastern Star, and American Legion Auxiliary. Faye was a registered nurse in Washington, IN prior to her marriage to Leo W. Brown.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brother, David Crane; and sister, Carol Jordan.
Faye is survived by her daughter, Leanna (Martin) Burke of Hyattsville, MD; son, James L. (Marlene) Brown of Clinton; grandchildren, John (Anika) Burke of Greenbelt, MD, Owen (Tonya) Burke of Upper Marlboro, MD, and Kelly Brown of Avon, IN; and great-grandchildren, Riley, John Jr., Rory, and Grace Burke of Maryland.
Visitation will be from 11-1 Saturday, December 12th at Frist Funeral Home. Services will be held at 1 pm with Pastor Leon Myers officiating. Burial will follow at Sugar Grove Cemetery. Online condolences may be made at www.fristfuneralhome.com.
