He was a graduate of Littleton High School.

He was a veteran in the U.S. Army during WWII and served in the European Theater of Operations. He was so very proud to have served his country in the "big one" and the soldiers he served with.

After his military service, Cush returned to Littleton, NH and married Judy A. Brebner. They raised a family that included his father and sister, Lexie. ...

Besides his parents, Cush is predeceased by his wife, and mother of his children,
Judith (Brebner) Cushing, along with his two subsequent wives, Irene (Gallen) Cushing and Mary Lou (Bernthal) Cushing. He is also predeceased by two sisters, Mabel Boothroyd and Lexie Cushing and his grandson Travis Henry.
