From the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, Tuesday, November 9, 1993:

Ruth Kilgore Corbitt, a retired explosives assembler, died Sunday at an Arlington hospital. She was 67.

Funeral was to be at 2 p.m. today at Greenwood Funeral Home.

Burial will be in Greenwood Memorial Park.

Mrs. Corbitt was born in Hugo, Okla., and had lived in Arlington since 1954.

Survivors: Son, Larry L. Kilgore of Mansfield; four daughters, Lacrescia Albertson of Benbrook, Thelma Jean Reed of Carthage and Jerry Linn Kilgore and Linda Kay Kilgore, both of Arlington; two stepsons, Tommy Corbitt and Galen Corbitt of Whitney; two stepdaughters, Peggy Green of Joshua and Sherrie Wright of Bothell, Wash.; two brothers, A. O. Kizer of Hugo, Okla. and Harry C. Kizer of Rockwal; four sisters, Elva Abernathy and Modell Hamill, both of Hugo, Edith Dunn of Paris and Geneva Tanzy of Shawnee, Okla.; eight grandchildren; and six stepgrandchildren.
