Ardis (Roberts) McNutt, 90, of Mount Calm, passed away Thursday, December 17, 2015, in Waco. Visitation will be from 12 to 2 p.m., at Wade Funeral Home before the services at 2 p.m., Saturday, December 19, at Wade Funeral Chapel with Rev. Bob Rainey officiating. Interment will follow in Mount Antioch Cemetery.

Ardis was born in Arena, Wisconsin, to the late Clarence Hugh and Rachel Violet (Coldwell) Roberts. She spent most of her early life in Wisconsin before moving to California where she met and married A.V. McNutt. They later moved to Texas in 1953 and lived in the Hubbard and Corsicana area before moving to Waco and later to Mount Calm in 1971. Ardis worked as an RN at several hospitals in California, Corsicana, and Waco. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Mount Calm and a member of the Order of Eastern Star.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, A.V. McNutt in 2012; two brothers; and three sisters.

Survivors include sons, Dennis McNutt and his wife, Robin, of Georgetown, and Vince McNutt and his wife, Linda, of Mount Calm; grandchildren: Amy Morrissey, of Jersey Village, Susan Shofkom and her husband, Robert, of Richmond, Michael McNutt and his wife, Julia, of Fort Worth, Melissa McNutt, of Delray Beach, Florida, and Rachel McNutt, of Hartford, Connecticut; great-grandchildren: Erin Morrissey, Collin Morrissey, Reagan Morrissey, and Summer Morrissey, all of Jersey Village, Caroline McNutt, of Fort Worth, and Isabel Shofkom, of Richmond; sisters, Jean Farris, of Janesville, Wisconsin, and Ruth Ann Reeve, of Mazomanie, Wisconsin; and numerous nieces and nephews and other extended family members and friends.
