Mrs. Anton (Frances) Kettner, 87, a former Manitowoc resident who for the past year has resided with her daughter, Mrs. Victor Zeman, of Maribel, died Tuesday evening at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Melnik Presbyterian Church, followed by brief rites at 1:30 p.m. at Saur Funeral Home, Kellnersville. The Rev. Charles Freuden will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Kettner, nee Frances Dufek, was born June 13, 1886, at Fayette, Mich., daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Dufek. She was married to Anton Kettner June 23, 1900, in Manitowoc County. The couple farmed in the Town of Kossuth until Mr. Kettner's death in 1945. She then resided at Manitowoc until making her home with her daughter. She was a member of Melnik Presbyterian Church and the Martha Society of the church. She was also a member of Racine Star Local 169.

Survivors include two sons, Joe and John, of Manitowoc; a daughter, Mrs. Victor Zeman of Maribel; three brothers, Matt, of Manitowoc, Frank, of Mountain View, Mo., and Andrew, of Crystal Lake, Ill.; a sister, Mrs. Barbara Boulanger, of Land O'Lakes, Wis.; seven grandchildren, a step-grand child and 10 great grandchildren. Five brothers preceded her in death.

Friends may call at Saur Funeral Home after 3 p.m. Thursday until 1:30 p.m. Friday.
