Christine "Tina" Rose Acampora, 61, of Palatka, died Friday, May 12, 2007, at her residence.

She was born July 6, 1945 in versailles, France. In 1947, she and her parents moved to Mamaroneck, N.Y., and in 1952, they relocated to Miami. She was a retired motel maid. She was of the Catholic denomination.

She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Acampora.

Survivors are her mother, Odette P. Acampora of Barrington, R.I.; sisters and brothers-in-law, Suzanne (Alex) Grimes of Palatka, Patricia (Francis) McBride of Barrington, and Marie-Anne Alvarez of Palatka; niece, Kami Grimes of Jacksonville Beach; nephews, Bill Machon of Providence, R.I., and Garrett Grimes and Tyler Grimes, both of Palatka.

No local services are planned. A private family Mass will be held at St. Luke's Roman catholic Church in Barrington, R.I.
