JOHNNY EVANS ALLEN, SR.

HOUSTON - Johnny Evans Allen, Sr., 54, passed away Sunday, December 20, 2015 at Pioneer Community Hospital in Aberdeen. He was born on April 16, 1961 in Houston to James Oscar Allen and Margaret Sue Heair Allen. He was a self-employed mechanic and of the baptist faith.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, December 23 at 2:00 at Southern Funeral Chapel with Bro. Randy Rinehart and Bro. Greg Moss officiating. Burial will follow in Macedonia Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday, December 22 from 5:00 until 8:00 at Southern Funeral Chapel

He is survived by his wife, Mary Ellen Hughes Allen of Houston, his children Johnny Evans Allen, Jr., and Frances Marie Allen both of Houston; his sisters Judy Barnett (Joe) and Janice Duncan (David) both of Houston; his brother, James Allen of Houston; his mother-in-law, Mary Hughes and brother-in-laws Linn Hughes (Darlene) and John Hughes all of Sparta; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Margaret Allen, his father-in-law, Gus Hughes and special sister-in-law, Glenda Hughes.
