Judith O. "Judy" Burnett, 73 years of age, a resident of Knowlton Township, NJ, for over 39 years, passed away on December 19, 2015 in Morristown, NJ. She had previously lived in New Vernon, NJ and had a winter home in Ft. Myers Beach, FL. She was born in E. Orange, NJ on April 5, 1942 to Rudolph and Mary (Petry) Ochs.
She had been employed as an Area Financial Manager for U.S. Gypsum, Blairstown, NJ. She served as a volunteer for Warren County Meals on Wheels, Belvidere, NJ and also volunteered for many of the local organizations in Ft. Myers Beach, FL.
She is survived by her husband Jim and a son Harold of Knowlton Twp., NJ, a daughter Leigh Franzino, W. Milford, NJ, two grandchildren, Matthew and Rachel, a sister, Dolores Cronk, Knowlton, Twp. and was predeceased by a brother Donald Ochs.
A period of visitation will be held from 2-4 & 7-9 PM, Tuesday, December 22, 2015 at Newbaker Funeral Home, 200 Route 94, Blairstown, NJ (Use Columbia, NJ for GPS). A funeral service will take place at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, December 23, 2015 with interment at Belvidere Cemetery, Pequest Road, Belvidere, NJ.
