Death of Mrs. Julia Bennett
Mrs. Julia Bennett, aged 72, died at the home of her son-in-law, George W. Williams, editor of the Evening News, 37 Walnut street, Forty Fort, at 12:30 o'clock this morning, of paralysis. Her death followed four years of suffering. Deceased was well known and beloved resident of the west side and her death will be mourned by a legion of friends.
Mrs. Bennett was born in Cornwall, England and came to this country about forty-two years ago, thirty-seven of which were spent in the section now known as Courtdale. She was a devout member of Courtdale Methodist Episcopal Church and until stricken ill was greatly interested in its activities.
The following children survive: George T. Blackman, of Kingston; Mrs. J. B. Blackman, of Forty Fort; William Blackman, of Beaumont; Thomas Blackman, of Courtdale; Mrs. George W. Williams, of Forty Fort and one brother, Thomas Dailey of Courtdale.
