Grant, Ann Gilligan,

75, wife of Gordon Paul Grant, died Sunday, December 27, 2015 at the Episcopal Church Home in Louisville. She was born in Louisville March 4, 1940 to the late John & Eileen Fiedler Gilligan. Having grown up in Louisville Ann attended Holy Name Academy, Presentation Academy and received her degree of Bachelor of music from the University of Louisville School of Music at Gardencourt. She was a member of Delta Omicron, the Louisville Bach Society and attended St. Luke's Chapel of the Episcopal Church Home. Known by everyone as a very warm and caring person, she was a lifelong music teacher, mainly piano, for many years but also played the harp and harpsichord.

Besides her husband of 48 years she is survived by her sons, LTC. Paul Edward Grant II US Army (Cynthia) and Maj. Benjamin William Grant USMC (Brandy). Two grandchildren, Logan William & Ava Nichole Grant also survive. Ann was preceded in death by her daughter, Sarah Susanna Fairlight Grant on November 15, 2005.

A service celebrating Ann's life will be held 2:00 pm Wednesday, December 30, 2015 at St. Luke's Chapel of the Episcopal Church Home, 7504 Westport Road. Visitation will be held from 1:00 pm Wednesday until service time. Burial will follow at Louisville Memorial Gardens.
