BARBER-GRANT, SARAH, 28, of Cincinnati, died at her home on Tuesday, November 15, 2005. She was born in Cincinnati, on November 22, 1976. She graduated from Finneytown High School in 1996, where she was an All-State Cellist, and from Miami University with a degree in Cello Performance in 1999. She studied cello performance at Tulane University in New Orleans, and received an MS degree in Arts Administration from Drexel University in Philadelphia. She was employed as an academic advisor at the University of Cincinnati and played in two local orchestras. She is survived by and much beloved by her parents, Ann and Gordon Grant of Cincinnati; her husband, Lewis A. Barber Jr.; and two brothers, Major Paul E. Grant II, USA (Cynthia) and Capt. Benjamin W. Grant, USMC (Brandy). Her funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Agnes Catholic Church, 1920 Newburg Road, in Louisville, KY, at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, November 22, 2005, with burial in Calvary Cemetery in Louisville, KY. Visitation will be at the Paul R. Young Funeral Home, 7345 Hamilton Ave., Cincinnati, OH, from 5-8 p.m. on Sunday, November 20, 2005, and at the Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Road, Louisville, KY, from 5-9 p.m. on Monday, November 21, 2005. Memorial gifts may be made to the SPCA in memory of Sarah and her deceased Dachshund, Ernie. Condolences may be sent to www.paulyoungfuneralhome.com.
