August Bonges, prominent farmer of Hennepin died at Spring Valley Hospital on
Friday, May 28, 1926, from the affect of a slight scratch from barbed wire. He was not
sick very long, but suffered intensely.
Mr Bonges was 67 years of age but much younger in appearance and actions. He was
a highly esteemed citizen of the county and was a director of the Granville National Bank. He leaves his widow and a large family to morn their loss. Funeral was held on Monday, with internment in the Hennepin Cemetery.
