Wife of Robert N Palm. Married on July 11, 1967.

Mrs. Palm retired from the Michigan City Public Library in 1988 where she had worked for 12 years as the head of the reference department. She graduated from Purdue University in 1970, worked as a Head Start teacher, then as a librarian with the Michigan City Public Schools from 1972 to 1976. Mrs. Palm also was dirctor of the New Buffalo, Michigan Public Library from several years in the 1950s and 1960s. She was a member of the New Buffalo School Board.

Mrs. Palm was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church, the DAR and into her early 80s, enjoyed monthly reunions with classmates from her Elston High School class of 1932. She enjoyed reading and giving book reviews to local organizations.

Of all her accomplishments, none were more important than her family and dear friends. Mrs. Palm possessed a vibrant wit, great sense of humor, and appetite for knowledge. Her spirit will live on in all those privileged to have known her.
