Willard "Myron" Pflaum, 83, of Noble, died at 8:30 a.m. Thursday, January 12, 2006 at Burgin Manor in Olney.
Mr. Pflaum's body will be cremated. There will be no services at present.
Mr. Pflaum was born on March 31, 1922 in Richland County, the son of Ralph and Minerva (Barnett) Pflaum. He married Shirley Jones on July 30, 1962 in Mt. Vernon. She survives.
He was a World War II Army veteran. He was a self-employed carpenter and in later years worked in the oil fields. He was a member of Olney Veterans of Foreign Wars, Olney American Legion and Masonic Lodge in Olney and was a member of the Methodist religion.
Mr. Pflaum is survived by his wife, Shirley (Jones) Pflaum of Noble; two sons, Ronald Pflaum and his wife, Michelle of Sailor Springs and DJ Pflaum of Chicago; daughter-in-law, Margaret Pflaum of Equality; three brothers, Frank Pflaum of Olney, John Pflaum and his wife, Bernice of Noble and Robert "Bob" Pflaum and his wife, Mary of Noble; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his eldest son, Ed; and one grandchild, Chrystal.
