Ralph Ernest Pflaum, 8l, lifelong resident of Noble, died of a heart attack Wednesday morning at 8 o'clock in his home at Noble.

He was a retired construction contractor.

Born in Noble Township December 21, 1890, he married Minerva Barnett in Richland County on September 3, 1909.

He leaves his wife, Minerva; five sons, Raymond, Frank, Myron, and John of Noble and Robert of Sailor Springs; four daughters, Mrs. Evelyn Lincoln and Mrs. Betty Allard of Noble, Mrs. Alice LeVin of Gilbertsville, Ky., and Mrs. Leona Street of Arcadia, Calif.; one sister, Mrs. Ida O'Dell of Decatur; 30 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and two sisters.

Services will be held Friday at 1:30 p.m. in the chapel of the Cardascio-Easley Funeral Home with Rev. Paul Brown officiating. Burial will be in North Freedom Cemetery. Visitation will be held after 4 p.m. today in the Noble Funeral Home Chapel.
