Lee Elliott, 81, of Augusta died Tuesday, Dec 28, 1999.
His funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday Jan 3, 2000 at First Christian Church in Augusta with Rev. Tom Davis officiating. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
He was born Nov 2, 1918 in Browntown, south of Augusta, to J. W. and Mary Logsdon Elliott.
He was married to Harriett Bryan on Jan. 29, 1943. She survives.
Mr. Elliott was a retired employee of Mobil Oil refinery transportation department.
He also leaves a brother Jim Elliott of Augusta and several neices and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, several sisters and brothers.
He was a 50-year member of the local Masonic Lodge.
Memorials may be sent to the First Christian Church of Augusta, 1600 State.
The Hillside Funeral Home Augusta is in charge of arrangements.
