Mrs. Brotherton Dead.
Mrs. Hiram Brotherton died Wednesday morning at 5 o'clock at her home on East Fifth avenue, after an illness covering a period of one year. She was 55 years old and the cause of death is given as a complication of diseases. The funeral will be held from the First M.E. Church Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock, under the direction of her pastor Rev. W.T. Scott and the ladies of the Eastern Star.
Mrs. Brotherton has lived in this city 22 years. She leaves a husband and three daughters, Mrs. Bell Lang of San Francisco, and Misses Irene and June Brotherton who live at home.
