Born in Gwinnett County on October 18, 1951 he was the son of Helen Gilstrap Buice of Toccoa and the late James Renzo Buice. He retired as a Captain from the Gwinnett County Fire Department. He was a member of New Bethel Baptist Church and enjoyed antique cars, hunting, fishing and camping.
Surviving are wife, Joan A. Buice of Carnesville; daughter and son-in law; Julie & Rev. Joey Gilbert of Carnesville; son and daughter-in-law, Kevin & Christie Buice of Carnesville; brothers, Ronald Buice of Carnesville; Robie Buice of Toccoa; sister, Patti Buice of Toccoa; three grandchildren.
