FRANK S. SEYMOUR DEAD

Passes away Saturday Morning Following a Stroke of Paralysis.

Frank S. Seymour, one of the early pioneers of Newberry, passed away early Saturday morning, following a brief illness. He was aged 51. Mr. Seymour was strickened with a stroke of paralysis Thursday afternoon, and soon afterward lapsed into a semi-conscious condition. He never rallied from the stroke., his condition steadily growing worse until death claimed him at an early hour Saturday morning.

The deceased was one of the early pioneers of Newberry coming here some thirty-five years ago, and was connected with the early lumbering operations in the county. For several years past he has conducted a plumbing business in this city. He was active in politics and has occupied several positions of public trust. A man of affable disposition and possessed of a keen sense of humor he was universally popular with all who knew him.

The funeral was held from the home Monday afternoon under the auspices of the Masonic order of which he was a member. The remains were laid to rest in the family burial lot in Forest Home cemetery. The deceased is survived by a wife and two children, a mother, two brothers, and two sisters.
