SASAKWA – A family memorial service for Sasakwa resident Lillie Ann Whisenhunt is scheduled for 2 p.m. Friday at Sasakwa Assembly of God, Pastor Wes Martin officiating.

She died in her home Sunday Nov. 14, 2002, after a house fire. She was 70.

She was born in Coal County May 2, 1934, to James and Cleo Wheat.

She attended Jackson School in Oklahoma City.

She retired from Western Electric in 1986.

She had lived in Sasakwa for the past 12 years and was a member of the Cornerstone Assembly Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents James and Cleo Wheat and one sister, Cordia Howry. Lillie is survived by three children: Linda Queern of Asberry, Va., Joyce Pyeatt of Cake Jackson, Texas, and Kenneth Raymond Williford of Omaha, Neb.; two sisters, June Badgett of Oklahoma City, and Ruth Albertson of Sasakwa; and one brother, Raymond Wheat of Oklahoma City.
