Jeanette "Jocko" M. (Evanoff) Barnes, 83, of Live Oak, FL died Tuesday, December 22, 2015 at Good Samaritan Center, Dowling Park, FL. She was born on July 16, 1932 in Toledo to Mito and Maria (Cholokoff) Evanoff. On July 1, 1964, in Toledo she married Glen O. Barnes, and he preceded her in death on May 19, 2003. She was an avid bowler since 1950 and had worked at the Toledo Sports Center and the Live Oak Bowling Center. She was a member of Rosemary Baptist Church and the Suwannee Valley Humane Society.

Jeanette is survived by her children: Michael and Lauranna, brothers: John and Michael (Woneida) Evanoff, and sisters: Angela (Bud) Sohnly and Dianne LaMantia.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.

There will be no visitation. Graveside services for Jeanette will be conducted 2:00 p.m., Monday, January 11, 2016 at Elliston Cemetery. The family has suggested memorial contributions to Hospice of Northwest Ohio or the donor's choice. Robinson-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, Oak Harbor is assisting the family with arrangements.
