Funeral services for Phil Waller will be held Monday, January 11, 2016 at 12:30 p.m. at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Donald Turner and Brother Kendall Turner officiating. Burial will follow at Long Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mr. Waller, age 51, of Meridian, passed away Friday, January 8, 2016 at St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson.
Phil worked for Atlas Roofing Corporation for over 32 years. He was an avid Elvis Presley fan and passed away on Elvis’s birthday. He loved antique cars, motorcycles, and playing the drums. He was a shrewd business man and could sell anything to anyone.
Survivors include his wife, Rhonda Waller; sisters, Charlotte McGlawn (Charles), Dianne Nester (Ronnie), Cindy Brewer (Darryl); brother-in-law, Danny Napp (Vera); nephews, Davy McGlawn (Melissa), Ronald Nester, Jeff Nester, and Rusty Brewer (Francie); nieces, Kendra Roberts (Allen) and Jennifer Sheffield (Tim); Goddaughter, MaKenzie Roberts; great-nieces, Bella Nester, Lauren Brewer, Kennedy Roberts, and Kirklyn Roberts; great-nephews, Aidan Brewer, Kohen Brewer, Kameron Roberts, Brody Sheffield, and Brooks Sheffield; his faithful companion, Tinkerbell; and his second family at Atlas Roofing.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Virginia Waller; brothers, Charles Doyle Waller and Michael Scott Waller; father-in-law, Littrell Napp; and mother-in-law, Jewel Napp.
