Dianne Johnson, age 59, went to be with the Lord on Thursday January 7, 2016 . She was born in Pasadena, Texas on November 29, 1956 to Loretta Moore Cox and James Gordon Cox.
She grew up in Channelview, Tx. and lived there with her parents and her brother. She attended Pasadena grade school and Channelview Jr. High School. She graduated from Channelview High School. Before completing high school graduation, she worked as a Nurses Aid at the old Gulf Coast Hospital. She studied and received her CNA and worked for the old Gulf Coast Hospital and Dr. James Hoffman. She loved her husband and had a love for animals. She had superb culinary skills and enjoyed cooking and also, embroidering . She was a very giving and caring person , willing to help everyone and was very active in her church. God blessed her with a wonderful singing voice and she loved to praise Him with song and sang in the Church choir. She loved the Lord and loved her church, Crosby Brethren Church. She was a member of the Christian sister, always smiling and had a humerous side to her. She loved being a homemaker and enjoying that, was at the top of her list. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
She is preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Michael Cox.

Johnson; her brother- in- law, Pete Johnson (and wife, Mary Helen); her mother-in-law and father-in-law, T.J. and Carol Johnson; her aunt, Pat Koenig ; her cousins, Edward and Lila Johnson and by her lifelong best friend, Shirley Sebesta. Also survived by other relatives and many friends.
A visitation for family and friends will be held at Sterling-White Funeral Home 11011 Crosby-Lynchburg Rd. Highlands, on Sunday evening January 10, 2016, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 pm., Services will be held in Crosby Bretheren Church5202 First St. Crosby on Monday morning January 11 2016 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be in Sterling-White Cemetery.
