Elmer J. Jensen, 71, Hilbert, died Friday afternoon at Calumet Memorial Hospital, Chilton, after a several months illness.

He was born January 14, 1902, at Brillion, a son of the late Charles and Caroline Rank Jensen. He married Cecilia Weber on April 20, 1937. Mr. Jensen worked for the Hilbert Sheet and Metal Co.

Surviving are his wife; three sons, Charles of Huntington Beach, Calif., Eugene, Anaheim, Calif., and Elmer, Jr., of Hilbert; five daughters, Mr. Kenneth (Elizabeth) Grenzer, Mrs. Paul (Jane) Thiel and Mrs. Robert( Karen) Eichmeier, all of Hilbert, Mrs. Gary (Barbara) Nennig of Chilton, and Miss Alice Jensen, Anaheim; 20 grandchildren; a brother, Harold, and a sister, Mrs. Elmer Schmelter, both of Brillion.

Funeral services will be held Monday at the Pfeffer Funeral Home, Chilton with a funeral Mass at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Hilbert. The Rev. Anthony Birdsall, pastor will be the celebrant. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
