PARKER CITY--Services for Parker City resident, Penelope L. (Penny) Triplett Wade, 58, will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday in Meeks Mortuary, Muncie. Burial will be in Elm Ridge Cemetery, Muncie. Calling will be 5-8 p.m. Tuesday and an hour before services Wednesday at Meeks Mortuary.
Mrs. Wade died Saturday in Parker City Health Care after a short illness.
She was born in Muncie and graduated from Parker City High School. She lived in Lake Mary, Fla., and worked at Lil Champ Store for several years. After moving back to Muncie, she worked at Target and attended Industry United Methodist Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Kellie Joe Whitney (husband: Earl) and Robin Lee Thomas (husband: Bobby); three sons, James H. Saunders III (wife: Anna), Scott F. Saunders (wife: Lori), and Eric M. Saunders; her mother, Berdena O. Grove; four brothers, Kent Tuttle, Michael C. Grove, Charles Grove, and Gregory Grove (wife: Cheryl); 13 grandchildren, and a great-grandchild.
A sister is deceased.
