Captain Reginald Younghusband was the son of Thomas Younghusband and Pascoa Georgina (Barretto) Younghusband and the husband of Evelyn (Davies) Younghusband. He was commanding officer of C Company, 1st Battalion, 24th Regiment of Foot when he was killed in action at the Battle of Isandlwana during the Anglo-Zulu War of 1879.
