Wife of Thomas Francis Dougherty. Mother of Francis (died in infancy), Marie, Irene, Sarah, Dolores, Katherine Eleanor, Russell William and four children lost in infancy including Francis. Moved to New Jersey after her husband's death and then to New York City by 1920.

Daughter of Michael Maher and Elizabeth Glennon. Sister of Mary, Lizzie, Katie, Sarah and Catherine.

"Mrs. Nora Daugherty was buried Wednesday in the Catskills in the family plot. She died suddenly late Saturday evening from the effects of a stroke. Mrs. Daugherty had made her home with her daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Dan Forrest, at 132 Twenty-third street."
