Funeral at Riverbend Baptist Church for Rev. Hugh A. Barrett, 70, Honeysuckle Lane, Southside. Collier-Butler Funeral Home in charge of arrangements with burial in Crestwood Cemetery. He was a native of GA and resident of Gadsden for many years. Former pastor of Goodyear Heights Baptist Church and retired as pastor of Riverbend Baptist Church. He pastored numerous churches in GA. He was a graduate of New Orleans Theological Seminary, veteran of World War II, and member of Glencoe Masonic Lodge 846. He is survived by wife, Mary; two sons and their families; sister and brother.
