Bogdan Mitrovic was born into a Serbian family in Bar, Montenegro on January 28, 1994. He lived in Dobra Voda, Bar Municipality until 2003 when he immigrated to Toronto with his family. Upon moving to Toronto, Bogdan (nicknamed Bodi by family and friends) excelled in school attending Chester Public School, Westwood Middle School and East York Collegiate Institute. Upon graduating high school in 2012, he enrolled in the University of Toronto where he studied sociology and became the Events Coordinator of the university's Serbian Students Association.
His funeral service (with Fr. Milos Puric officiating) was held on January 19, 2016. Interment followed at Saint James Cemetery where he is interred in Section BPS, Lot I North.
Bogdan was survived by his father Sasa and mother Snezana, brother Milan and a wealth of family and friends who will remember his warm smile, kindness, intelligence, humbleness and selflessness. Rest in peace Bogdan and may God rest your soul.
