Thada Fayrene Fowler, 83, of Silverton, Texas passed away peacefully on January 20, 2016. Graveside service will be at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, January 23, 2016 at the Silverton Cemetery.
She was born on February 3, 1932 in Lockney, Texas to William "Elvie" Lackey and Rosa Massengale. Thada married J.C. Fowler in Silverton, Texas on March 3, 1959. She is a member of First Baptist Church in Silverton.
Thada is survived by her husband J.C. Fowler, her daughter in law, Allyson Fowler of Shallowater, four grandchildren: Josh and Amanda Griffith of Dallas, Johnny Fowler of Lubbock, and Katie Fowler of Shallowater, all of whom she loved dearly.
Thada was preceded in death by her loving son, Clayton Jay Fowler, her parents, a sister Bennie Golightly, a sister Wanda DuBois, a brother Lindsey Lackey, and a brother Greer Lackey
Thada Fowler was loved by many and will be greatly missed.
Arrangements are under the care of Moore-Rose Funeral Home.
