Arvilla Bracken Lunt, age 101, passed away in Springville, Utah at the home of her daughter, on March 23, 2007.
She was born on July 14, 1905 in Freedom, Wyoming to Aaron Franklin and Amelia Hansen Bracken. She married Frank J. Lunt on September 12, 1929 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Manti Temple. He died February 16, 1986.
She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and served in many callings, including, Young Women's president, Stake Primary, a Stake Missionary, Ward Mission Committee, and Scouting program. She was involved with the school immunization program, the Senior Citizens Group and played in the Seniors Band, Daughter of the Utah Pioneers, and loved nursing. She was a Certified Red Cross Instructor for Juab County from 1944 to 1976. During this time there were over 200 students certified.

She is survived by two sons and one daughter, Milton B. (Donna) Lunt of Syracuse, UT; Farrell D. (Vivian) Lunt of Layton, UT; Oneita Lunt (Sterling) Fackrell of Springville, UT; 15 grandchildren, 62 great grandchildren, and 30 great great grandchildren; two brothers, Lynn (Nadene) Bracken of Logan, UT; Vernal (Betty Deceased) Bracken of Texas. She is preceded in death by her husband, parents, five brothers, and one sister.
Funeral services will held at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 31, 2007 in the Nephi Stake Center, 351 N 100 W. Friends may call Friday evening from 6-8 p.m. at the Anderson Funeral Home, 94 W 300 N Nephi and at the church one hour prior to the services at the church. Interment will be in the Nephi Vine Bluff Cemetery
