Raymond Aldinger of Fallon, age 29, committed suicide sometime Monday afternoon by hanging himself with a rope at the Aldinger farm northeast of Fallon. Aldinger had been living in Fallon and drove daily to the old Aldinger farm to tend cattle he was running. Monday he made the usual trip to the farm, but failed to return. Tuesday morning his brother Erving Aldinger drove to the farm to see why he hadn't returned the previous evening and found his body.
Raymond Aldinger was born September 6, 1920 at Vananda. He lived with his parents there until he was 10 years of age, and then moved to Fallon with them. He attended grade school at Vananda and Hatchet Creek, whee he graduated from the eighth grade. He was a member of the American Lutheran Church..
The deceased was a very likable fellow and always full of fun. His death comes as a tragic sorrow to his mother and many friends and relatives in the Fallon community.
He is survived by his mother, Mrs Lydia Aldinger; four brothers, Milbert and Ted of Vananda and Richard and Erving of Fallon; and two sisters, Mrs Adolph Schott of Fallon and Mrs Arnold Peterson of Edgar. He was the youngest of the family.
Interment will be made in the American Lutheran Cemetery.
