Funeral services for Edward A. Somers, 65, of 1120 Elizabeth Lane, who died at 7 p.m. Friday inSt. Anthony Hospital will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday at the Ball-Porter Funeral Home. The Rev. Wayland E. Siders will officiate and burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Park. Friends may call after 1 p.m. Sunday.

Edward A. Somers,65, 1120 Elizabeth Lane, died at 7:00 p.m. Friday in St. Anthony Hospital.
He is survived by the widow, Kathryn; four sisters, Mrs. Erma Alcorn, Dennison, Ill.; Mrs. Irene Calloway,Marshall, Ill.; Mrs. Dorothy Kirby and Mrs. Bernice Baggs, both of Terre Haute:four brothers, Albert, Washington, Ind.; John, Terre Haute; Mitchel, Griffith, Ind.; Gilbert, Marshall, Ill., and a stepmother, Mrs. Mae Somer, Dennison, Ill.
He was a member of the Breden Memorial United Methodist Church, Terre Haute Masonic Lodge No. 19, the Scottish rite, Valley of Terre Haute, and the Zorah Shrine.
Somers owned two shoe repair shops in Terre Haute until his retirement in 1965.
Arrangements are pending at the ball-Porter Funeral Home.
